Here’s 10 things about my cat (cause I’m in the mood for list)

1. We call him Morty and that’s short for Voldermort.
2. He used to have a sibling cat, named Dumbledore (yeah, we were all about HP then).
3. Dumbledore… escaped through a drain and we never saw him again.
4. Bet Morty was cursing cause he was suppose to follow but he couldn’t get through the drain
5. Anyways,, Morty’s old now. I think about 8 years old
6. He’s never been outside of the house compound
7. A cat once came in the house ‘meow’ing and Morty was like ‘Dude, what ya doin’?
8. Morty likes to do ‘ownership’. Yes. Pee and shit at places
9. But he can really pull a Puss in The Boots huge eyes – so I end up bringing him in the room anyways.
10. Bet he was saying: Sucker!

.Wish of the day: Good Sunday for shopping

Everyone knows I get panic attacks, right? 

Anyways. This is a whiny post. Its not about trying to find motivation or to be inspired. It’s to whine, whine, whine.

So I’ll say things like it’s getting too cold, like its just my luck and like why can’t the tutor understand my situation.

But I’ll also say that God is Most Merciful and tries to show me the need of making this hard, of hitting just above rock bottom, of getting used to the horrible sinking feeling.

So it’s ok. It will be.

• Results came out Friday at 2.30pm.
• My patient arrived at 2pm and left at 5.05pm.
• Very, very, very, very, very difficult case btw.
• I opened my result slip (passed, yay!) and checked my phone.
• There were 10 messages. From M, Mel, Amir and my mum.
• Life is good when you have people who care
• Got dressed for xmas dinner – extra soft special mixed grill meat at Sofra
• Detoured to Laduree in Covent Garden – splurged for expensive macaroons. It’s OK, M bought it.
• Went into Somerset House to warm out on my way back
• Night out in London on Friday night: wonderful

Saturday:

• Woke up late. Rushed to MSD
• Emotional breakfast with Mel and Amir – traditional nasi lemak post-result celebratory
• Who I should add, I love.
• Went to Hight Street Kensington (first time in 4 years)
• First shop to spend: Whole Foods. Um. Yes. Food. I bought some weird combination of foods btw including powder wasabi and kale chips
• Kale chips are wonderful! Have you tried it?
• 2 more books bought to fill the bookshelf
• Dinner at Busaba Eathai with M, Emey and Iman. Thai Calamari – crunchy and sweet and warm and just wonderful
• Found out Winter Wonderland was closed due to overcrowding. Huh?
• So ended up at the German Xmas Market at Embankment. Yummy sugary soft doughnuts and newly found chimney cake.

Sunday:

• Woke up late, nothing in the fridge, ate greasy burger and chips, polished off the macaroons and had large chicken tikka briyani for dinner
• I feel bloated, greasy and no good
• I know, I know. My own fault.
• Conclusion: Sunday – not wonderful, meh.

But apart from that, here’s to Monday. *grimace

.Wish of the day: Better pillow. Neck is aching.

No snow in London. I’m ok with that.

So how the heck do I end up owing them a good £12 due to late return of books?

I have a feeling there’s more but as I type each letter, I’m thinking ‘wow, I’m really doing nothing until holidays.’
Yikes.

You know how people go ‘I wish I could go back time to high school or when we were kids, etc’. I never feel that. I don’t want to go back time except to erase some horribly embarrassing memories. Definitely not to experience that feeling of joy and freedom. Because I know, everything is in balance. With joy there is sadness. With freedom there is restriction.

It’s in the past for a reason. Happy memories alone do not mould you. The toughness, the tears, the pain – those made you suspicious and thus, you grow up to make critical choices.

You grow up.

I’m not saying good memories are not important though. But don’t tell me you’re going back just for those.

.Wish of the day: Milk. Cause I’m running out and I’m too lazy to go to the store.

So here’s me binging on Glee Season 3.

And guess what I found:

Absolutely. Yes.

1. Went to Jane Asher‘s shop in South Kensington. Bought a whopping £40 on random cake deco things. Was very happy up until the point I forgot to make a left turn and ended up heading towards Clapham Junction.

2. Planned to have late tea with Iman and Emey at Hummingbird. Arrive said place at 6pm. Found out that it closes at 6pm.

3. Detoured to Patissiere Valerie. Coffee and cakes. Yum.

4. Took the tube to Queensway and had a very oily duck dinner at Oodle Noodle.

5. Ended up in front of London Eye – where the German Xmas Market was happening. Ooh-ed and Aah-ed and headed back home.

6. Woke up very late Sunday morning, only to realise oh hay, time for dinnah!

7. Went to MSD. Good food for £4.50.

8. Finished the night with Starbuck’s Gingerbread Latte and Pecan Cheesecake.

And now, back to reality. Monday.
